Before they were Electric Love Muffin, the band was a hardcore trio called Sunshine State consisting of Rich, Brian, and Frank. Sunshine State demos were recorded on an old reel-to-reel 4-track at Otto’s in North Philly sometime in 1984. Jim McMonagle of F.O.D. provided some backup vocals.
